James writes about a Grace Eyre trip to the local bus depot / 7 September 2012

We went to visit the bus depot near Hove station on 3 September. It was lovely going on the open top bus along the seafront. Some of us went upstairs but we stayed downstairs. We had some biscuits – custard creams and ginger nuts.

We did some role play on the bus. I practiced being assertive by asking someone politely if they would give up their seat. And they did.

On the way we practiced what we would do if we missed our stop. They showed us pictures of landmarks to look out for such as Tescos, 99p shop, the station and the bank.
