Paul Maynard MP and Chair of the Young Disabled People’s All Party Parliamentary Group has agreed to support Attitude is Everything in representing the needs of young disabled and Deaf people.

Paul is the Member of Parliament for Blackpool North & Cleveleys, taking the seat for the first time in 2010.  Paul is the only MP to have started his education in a special school before transferring to mainstream education graduating from Oxford after reading history.  Paul is determined to represent and inspire everyone to reach their full potential.

Paul Maynard MP says:

“It is a great honour to have been asked to be a Patron of Attitude is Everything.  I have found my work with the Young Disabled People’s All Party Parliamentary Group fascinating and worthwhile and I was particularly proud of the work the group has done around cinema and live music access.  I look forward to a fruitful and continued working relationship and I will take my new role as Patron very seriously ensuring I represent the needs of young disabled and deaf people to the best of my ability.”

Suzanne Bull MBE, Chief Executive Officer, Attitude is Everything says:

“I am really pleased that Paul has agreed to be one of our Patrons. I know that Attitude is Everything will really benefit from his expertise in working closely with the Young Disabled People’s All Parliamentary Group and he can help us shape our future Parliamentary work in influencing the changes in access that we seek to make.”

Paul joins Attitude is Everything Patrons Mat Fraser, Robert Wyatt, Susan Hedges, Alan McGee, Blaine Harrison, Amadou and Mariam, and Drugstore who all have a very personal connection to the vision and values of our organisation.

In the future, Attitude is Everything will be announcing other Patrons so that we have cross-party support from all 3 main political parties.
