Locked Ward digital composition by Phil Lancaster

A terrified figure stands between two glass spheres which contain three quarter face views of a bald Mussolini-like authority figure both of which are staring at the central figure. In the background there is a double grid of dungeon like bars. A red brick floor is festooned with five scattered blue eyeballs. The central figure is composed of a metallic egg type structure completely covered in tiny tea-strainer-like holes. Metal cages cover the brain, ears, eyes, nose and mouth. The eyes are exactly the same as the eyeballs on the floor. The face wears an expression of terror. It has two huge hands sprouting from the sides of its chin made of the same material as that of the face. Two tiny black stockinged legs hang down from its lower chin and it has tiny blue feet.
