Eternal Chase digital composition by Phil Lancaster

Beneath an inky cloudy sky a piece of driftwood, a dead tree, sits on a pebbled - probably maritime - landscape. From behind the tree a fish resembling a pike lunges through the air with open mouth towards the right foreground. It appears ready to devour a blue and gold flatfish with a worried human face (that of a youngish white man). A bird of prey with the head of a polar bear sits solemnly on a branch jutting upwards from the driftwood. A white seagull with black wings soars inwards from the top left corner. A brass alarm clock indicating ten past three sits at the base of the dead tree.
