"An enduring theme in my experience with bipolar disorder is the hypervigilantl, self-reflexivity of my behaviour in order to pass as someone without this highly-stigmatized disorder. There is also an external hypervigilence, in attempt to measure or gauge peoples' facial and verbal reactions to what I say and do. Am I coming across as 'normal'?"
